Max Berkelhammer wins UIC Silver Circle Teaching Award

During his 4th year at UIC, Max Berkelhammer has been presented with the UIC Silver Circle Award for Teaching Excellence. The award has special recognition given that graduating seniors nominate and vote on the faculty awards. In his short time at UIC, Max has contributed greatly in the mentoring and teaching of undergraduate students. His courses include, Earth Systems, Stable Isotope Geochemistry and he co-teaches Soils and Climate, Contamination, and Chicago. He also regularly involves undergraduate students in his studies of climate science and interactions between the land surface and atmosphere.
