About Juan:

From the Earth to the beyond, Juan is a geologist from the Universidad Nacional de La Pampa who wants to unmask the secrets of the universe. Over the past two years has worked as a research and development scientist in a moon rover project, demonstrating his initiative in problem solving, self-taught, and proactivity. Recent achievements include two Fulbright scholarships, an award for research activities, a Consejo Federal de Inversiones (CFI) scholarship, and two Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales (YPF) scholarships, among others. Juan also enjoys sharing his academic passion with others, having made several presentations of his work to prestigious institutions, such as NASA, Lockheed Martin, the U.S. embassy in Argentina, and even schools and media, while accumulating more than four years of teaching as an assistant at his university. Now, he's eager to take the next big step in his academic journey by pursuing a Ph.D. in planetary geophysics at the University of Illinois in Chicago.
